Isn't this the second player to transfer from Maryland to Ball State? Yes. Kara Bates transferred to Ball State last year and I already know that her and Scott are pretty close. I'm sure she played a role as a recruiter. Still trying to get an interview with Scott about it, but I don't think it's going to happen for now. |

ESPN reported that over 400 D1 men's basketball players are transferring this year alone. I'm curious to see how D1 volleyball stacks up to that. Anyone have a rough estimate?

Jenna Jendryk, a 6-0 Class of 2012 S/RS from Benet Academy (IL) and SPVB 18 Elite, who signed with VA Tech in the fall, will instead play for Dayton starting in September, 2012.
