ESPN reported that over 400 D1 men's basketball players are transferring this year alone. I'm curious to see how D1 volleyball stacks up to that. Anyone have a rough estimate?

Would this be considered a transfer? From JT's PVC site:
Jenna Jendryk, a 6-0 Class of 2012 S/RS from Benet Academy (IL) and SPVB 18 Elite, who signed with VA Tech in the fall, will instead play for Dayton starting in September, 2012.

Is all this unusual or is it because the internet gives us a way to gather all the info and report it.

True, but if she signed a NLI, doesn't she need a release?

True, but if she signed a NLI, doesn't she need a release? No, because the NLI was null and void under the circumstances. It was as if she never signed an NLI.
