For D2 La Crosse has been in the finals the last three years and has won the last two. Does anyone think they should be moving up to D1?? Having a few closely packed good years usually means you've had a pretty solid core group. I wouldn't advocate moving up unless that success could be sustained over a longer period of time.

If anyone didn't get to see the UCF keg stand ace cheer or the play where their big OH blasted the ball 1,000 courts down here is a link to it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Di9A6cRXcOk

I probably wouldn't have thought either were funny if I were on the opposing team.

We were losing like 23-12. I highly doubt any of the guys from Oshkosh found it "douchey." Especially since a number of them are friends with Jaime (#1), and there is somebody from Oshkosh already mentioned it was funny on here and they were the ones that just posted the link...

I knew I forgot one team that had no class.
1. UCF 2. Illinois 3. Oshkosh
I almost want to take Oshkosh off this list now because they just play the game angry and weird while UCF and Illinois actively pursue classless behavior ("ball, ball"). UCF has some cool guys but as a squad they definitely have the least class. The libero and #38 are really weird dudes, #38's "let's go dog" is my new favorite battle cry that I've had the good fortune to oppose. Even their coach went ballistic for no reason against Illinois at Vegas, but that was mostly funny. Those three teams are all talented, unfortunately they have little knowledge of what it means to play the game.

I personally thought it was hilarious. Didn't like the launch out of bounds though. You just got worked in a match, so let the other team have a chance to celebrate and earn their victory.

Nothing says d-bag like rocketing a ball 500 feet out of bounds on match point, when you're getting killed, then celebrating. Sorry.

All-tournament team is up for Division I. Notre Dame only gets two? Illlinois gets four and UW-Oshkosh only gets two even though they both lost in the semi-finals? The voting system is flawed as many teams do not submit votes after they lose. The ballot sheet needs to be more clear on how many players you need to vote for (there are four spots, but doesn't say if you have to fill in all four spots) and an order of who was your best player, etc.

The keg stand and the hit out of bounds explains why they were losing 23-12, nothing upstairs.
If I was a player on the opposing team, it wouldn't bother me what they did, I'd probably find it funny because they were no threat to me, we destroyed them, we won, we move on, they can sit and watch, while we continue playing.

Are we on the girls thread? because i thought only girls cried about volleyball. I didn't know people weren't allowed to have fun while playing this sport. UCF was getting beat bad, they had a bad game, but you know what? They ended the season with smiles on their faces. Do people want to watch a game that is 25-13? No, but I'm still wondering why were so many people watching... probably because they were getting entertained. And you might ask yourself this question, why do people want to watch these matches? to get entertained. Yes, it might have been childish and "immature," and I'm sorry that nobody got the humor out of it. I guess theres one thing that I've taken away from this argument, collegiate club volleyball (yes I said it, this is a not a scholarship oriented collegiate hobby that we enjoy doing on our spare time, this is not the NCAA or professional volleyball league) players aren't allowed to have personalities, and they must act in a mature fashion at all times on and off of the court so that we don't hurt the feelings of our competitors and spectators.
