Marking the similarities between President Barack Obama's time in office and former president Jimmy Carter's is nothing new. But as of Monday, Obama has hit one more Carter benchmark - both saw gas prices double in their first term of office. [See Where Gas Prices are Spiking the Most]

Truffle, Elevation is operating on the Fox principle: just repeat the same thing over and over again, regardless of facts, and hope people just accept it.
Any of us with functioning brains still remember that gas was more expensive when Bush was president than it is now, but those are the sorts of facts that Elevation simply ignores.

pretty much every first world country that imports significant amounts of oil is experiencing the highest gas prices since mid 2008. anyone who believes that the high gas prices in america are barack obama's fault is a hapless moron.
