Lovesmesomevball, I don't recall her saying anything bad about Ray or her setter in any articles that I saw. As for her mentor, that would be her head coach right? Wasn't that part of his job?

Badger Bill, I told you that you had nothing to worry about! It's all good! I think it's all pretty far from all good.

They were pretty accurate, but things soured. Does the board get an assist for this?

I do not remember an article with these comments from Lauren, but I have heard players quoting comments such as these after practices. As far as a mentor is concerned, Dan and Coley have a much longer history with Lauren than Ray had, and Dan was her direct coach while Ray spends more time with setters and administration duties. Still, when all is said and done the program is the responsibility of the head coach so if he was made aware that Lauren needed work he could have done something. Though I am not convinced the communication between Ray and his assistants was as open and complete as it could or should have been.

Sounds like a story book ending has taken place. So what's the next midwest program to have an "issue".
I heard the UWM mens soccer program recently dismissed a coach, upon players revolt, does that count?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sounds like a story book ending has taken place.
Oh, here we go.... Once upon a time, Princess Wiznooki escaped the bad, bad land of corn ruled by the orge GoodenBad to find true happiness in Spartanland. The End.

If Moster can impart her skills from her playing days to her charges at NIU, that will be a great thing for the Huskies. She was a really good all around player.
