Do Slick Nick and Straw have more points than Rosie and Gibb for Olympic qualifying? They probably do now....but they were seeded higher which puzzled me, doesn't take much to do I know, but still....

They began the season with 60 more Olympic points than Gibb & Rosie and this win will increase that lead.

Wow, I'm so pissed I couldn't watch that match (Matt/Nick vs. Sean/Jake). What a barn burner! These teams are so even. I think Matt/Nick now hold a 5-3 lead all time series.

Hey guys, if you weren't able to watch the matches, it looks like the FIVB has been posting a lot of them on youtube. Just search FIVB brasilia 2012, and a whole bunch of qualifier and main draw matches are up from the last couple days (quality is ok, but free is free). The youtube user is SwatchWorldTour2012. I haven't found the Gibb/Rosie vs Fuerby Lucena match yet, but hopefully it gets posted too.

I'm sure Fuerbs is blocking well and Nick is playing his sick defense. Be really nice to see them beat the Germans and get into a medal! |
