This makes it look like Hill and Stepanova were paired at the National Championships. Seems odd, since they are from different schools.

Does anyone know what Hill is doing next year? Sand? Indoors in Europe? A well-adjusted non-volleyball-related adult life?

My vote goes to Kate Stepanova--2 Final Fours in less than 6 months! She'll get to try it again at a different school next season - she's transferring to FIU for her last year of sand eligibility.

Why not Summer? She was a six-rotation starter for Washington (who barely got knocked out of the second round), and then she was part of the top individual pair and the top team on the sand. She just didn't play for the same school when she did it.

i just think it's kinda cool for all 3. there will be better and more esteemed 'dual' players as history goes by.
But they are the first in history to have that distinction as dual All-Americans

Umm that post is just a reproduction of this one on another board (and cites them). Also, it's wrong. Stepanova isn't going to Europe.

Well, she might go to visit her family...but volleyball, not yet. Stepanova's enrolling in grad school at Florida International and playing for Rita Crockett next Spring.

That's what I asked. I think this list gives too much credit to "All-American" status, especially on the indoor side. We know that AA is somewhat of a name-recognition award. I am not saying that Ross deserved to be an AA on the indoor lists. But she played at a high level, starting and playing all-around for a top team in a top conference. Then she went on to play as part of the #1 pair on the sand. This seems like it deserves some consideration.

Stepanova isn't going to Europe. Nope. She arrives in Riga, Latvia soon to play for National Team.

Where are Hill, Ladoux and Frederick going to play their 5th year?? They can stay at their original school for their 5th year right? There's not some rule where they have to go somewhere else is they want to play a 5th year, is there?
