Cassidy Lictman
The spotlight was on Akinradewo, Barboza, and Klineman...but Lictman consistently ran the offense and put up some great numbers.

I'll throw out a couple of old school names from Stanford. 1.) Cary Wendell. 4 year starter. OH/ Back up setter her first two years. although, her sophomore year, they sometimes ran a weird/modified 6-2. Stanford LOVES their modified 6-2's. Then, Junior/Senior years ran the traditional 6-2 with Sharpley. Wendell was a primary hitter, passer, and setter for the team. She somehow would make the little plays, the little touches that would turn matches around. 2.) Barbara ifejika. another 4 year starter. didn't get the press and wasn't the primary option but quietly got the job done. She was just very solid and consistant. There's a reason why she still ranks in the top 10 at Stanford in several hitting & blocking categories.

It would be hard to argue with outsides like Barboza, Richards, Larson, Hodge, Lichtman, Morrison who did everything so well. Hodge and Barboza we're the most consistent outsides in the past few years. Tom and Ross we're both great before them. Disagree about Barboza. There are many other players that were much more consistent than her. Danielson comes to mind. Spicer too.

Among the college ranks I have to give it to Blair Brown who carried the whole team to the NCAA championship in her senior year. This feat was accomplished after Nichole Fossit, Alisha Glass, Megan Hodge and Christa Harmotto left the team. Russ had her hitting kill shots at every position on the court and making numerous blocks as the tough opposite. She also has 4 NCAA championship rings to show for it. ;D

Yes. +1 I was going to add these two to my suggestion of Hodge (who improved consistently and continuously). Barboza was never consistent...
