So how does this work? The top Asian team goes, and then the top three other teams (Asian or not)?

So how does this work? The top Asian team goes, and then the top three other teams (Asian or not)? 1. Top Asian team goes. 2. of the next 4 teams, the three who pay the highest "tv rights fees," to the FIVB. ;D

Here's what I found:
OK, this makes a difference. The way I wrote it, then if Japan was in the top three they would go as the Asian team. But apparently that's not true. If Japan is in the top three then they go as one of the at-large teams, meaning another Asian team gets in. That makes a big difference!

Top 3 teams (asian or not) + top Asian team (who isn't part of the top 3) the three who pay the highest "tv rights fees," to the FIVB. ;D I almost wouldn't mind. I miss Polsat's quality livestreams so much ;D

Thinking about all those European teams who won't be in London who should be. At a minimum, Germany and Poland should have had a shot in this tournament. Ah well, there's always Rio!

Wow, so looks like it will be Russia, Japan, Thailand as top 3, and then Korea as the Asia team.

I think the Women's Olympic qualification rule is quite unfair to other continental teams. The Asian qualification tournament should be separated from WOQ.

Saori is too amazing to not play in the Olympics!
