Good chance to get Thompson so much needed PT with the starters against a quality opponent.

We are going to have to do a LOT better than this to win in London.

Well, the assumed starters started...Berg, Tom, Hooker, Harmotto, Foluke, Jordan. Thompson played sets 3-5. Dani subbed only a few points for Harmotto.
Bulgaria was better than I expected, but we also didn't play well overall. They were scrappy on D and we had a hard time putting balls down. Serve receive was poor by Davis. There were multiple times she shanked consecutive receptions. Bulgaria served at her all night. They also tipped over Berg/Thompson all night long. I don't think Destinee even came close to picking them up until the end of the 4th and throughout the 5th. Most the time of the tip was picked up, it was Logan covering for Destinee.
Our block wasn't great tonight. Vasileva hit around us and through us or tooled us. It was a bit frustrating as they either tipped in front of Hooker or hit hard angle and we just couldnt get them up until late in the match.
Hodge subbed in for Logan in one front row rotation at the end of the 4th and added some firepower. Logan came back to serve and sealed the set.
That's a general brief synopsis of what comes right to mind after leaving.

From your analysis and from watching the WGP, I am getting more and more concerned about Davis as a libero. As a libero, she should not be such a passing liability! I don't know if it's too late to start using Tama more often in the passing role. What do y'all think?
