NBC should be broadcasting as many USA events live as possible and not tape delaying a USA event to show 2 other countries playing live. The streaming of video sucks. With all the technology we have these days they should figure out a way to make this event better for television.

If you get NBC Sports on cable you could've watched some live beach volleyball action very early this morning (along with the eight people in the stands).

I LOVED when they had Ryan Seacrest on in primetime to talk about what the Jonas Brothers were tweeting instead of showing us more gymnastics.

I actually thought the NBC app for my iPad was pretty good! There is about 4 camera views and mics in huddles of all the matches. I had some minor issues loading but there was even full replays available.

Didn't like the camera angle during the beach volleyball match between Rosenthal/Gibb and the team from South Africa...I really didn't understand the logic of having that one camera angle of viewing the action from on top...it really made no sense to me...
other than that I think NBC is doing a great job covering the Olympics...plain and simple you can please everyone!

While watching the Women play S. Korea, I was amused by the commentator complaining about the long official delays, both in the beginning and during a portion of the match. Since this is a tape delayed event, why did WE have to see it. Wouldn't time have been better spent squeezing a few extra rallies in there? If he didn't like it, why on earth would NBC think we would.

So, on the West Coast, does "LIVE" mean the F-Bombs aren't censored, even though it's delayed three hours?

Is the commentaries done after the taping? The only reason I ask is on the live streaming, there is no commentary.
