This thread was made on Saturday. It's only Monday. I guess I can't leave VT for more than a day, lol. If you'll still allow me, I'll get my pics in today. Can I get till then end of this evening. I don't know who has been picked and I've gotta decide who I want. Haven't even thought about it.

Perhaps a compromise, since we have to have 2 Libero, one of them can get assists the other cant? Sorry if I am not clear, it happens a lot to me. But if you are using real liberos than they can take assists. I am just a little confused on this situation right now. Disclaimer- I typed this on my phone so probably lots of mistakes Well firstly that wasnt explained in this official competition prior to the first draft And secondly, and more importantly I think we are blurring the lines between a position on a fantasy team and specialized roles on actual teams. I think it should be all or nothing. The primary understanding of this competition is point totals in 5 different categories. I think it's fair To say on a fantasy team you have to have x- and that x be a freshmen or a Libero. But then it has to be all encompassing. It's not right to judge whether or not a player can get points in a category based on what supposed position they play on the actual team. For the purpose Of our fantasy league ACTUAL positions should not matter. The fact that a setter in real life and a MB in real life have different rules if they both play the same role, Libero, on the fantasy team is unfair. Question, what if a college team ran a legit 6-2 where the player is half setter half opp, how would you treat them if a fantasy team said they were a Libero?

I didn't see in the rules, but I thought someone said that this year the stats would be per set. Correct?

Well someone could surely arrange their team that way especially considering it wasn't explained before we started. I just think that it should be "the PLAYER designated as Libero cannot do X,y,z" regardless of who plays there the rules are the same. Personally I think Libero should not be able to get kills or blocks like in the actual game, assists should be legit category but that's here no there... I'm just a fan of uniformity that way there isn't grey area (for example running a 6-2)

Just a thought about next season, what if there were a fantasy league for whole teams? So instead of drafting players, you draft 10 teams?

What happens in the case of a season-ending injury? We have the Drop-Off and Pick-Ups again. Instead of having them on a certain week, you will be allowed to use three for the whole season. You can use them in any week but you have to use them on a Monday.
