Hmmm there are a number of tourney bound PAC 12 players yet to be picked this late in the draft. Only one selection each from cal and washington, USC and ucla's middles, usc's outsides, Oregon has a stud frosh in battendorf (sp?)... Very interesting.

I think for the most part, at least on my end, some of these top tier Pac 12 teams have some line-ups that need to be settled which makes me hesitant to pull the trigger on a player, most of which won't be revealed until after a few pre-conference games. For instance does Stanford go w/ Benjamin or Gilbert as Libero? Cal's got Gehan, Higgins, and Neumayr vying for 2 spots if Johnson holds down the Opp position still, and that's excluding the froshies Gombar and/ or Vukasovic. For UDub, I would have thought Orlandini would have been picked by now, but the threat of Holford playing libero leaves me in limbo when it comes to picking her. Bergsma is a lock for Opp at Oregon, so that means one of Fischer, Brenner, and Bettendorf won't see much court time despite their skill levels. And how much does Strehlow push Moenoa for setter at UCLA? If enough, then a 6-2 would cut their assists in half. The lack of Pac 12 middles chosen with locks on a starting position seems more surprising though. Olgard, Hawari, Nightingale, Aquino, Gil all still on the board.

This is literally my thought process. I'm still convinced y'all read my mind. Middles are a big surprise, and I think you can add Kat Brown from Cal into that mix. She's a mean blocker
