One of the most exciting games I have ever seen. (game 2) That bump over by Kerri that went down will haunt those Chinese women for years. That would have put them two up and only needing a couple sideouts for the win.
Kerri Walsh is an animal. Misty played well but Kerri was spectacular. Great match and I think this might have been the real gold medal game, although the slowness of the Chinese really helped US get a lot of shots down and obviously Brazil or Kessey/Ross will be quicker

Never underestimate the heart(s) of a champion.

Holy Schnikes, that was a match. I had picked the Chinese to win in three, very happy to be wrong. Misty and Kerri just Do. Not. Fold. They play the same down 20-19 as they do when they're up 20-16. Maybe the most underrated part of their game - mental toughness. Misty has never gotten rattled in her career. She just always comes thru in the moment. They finally blocked May in the 2nd set, otherwise zilch, Walsh/May don't give away points.

Unbelievable match. Wish it could have gone 3 and been for a gold medal.
Absolute must watch in primetime for the folks that missed it.

YES!!
I HAVE to see the replay of this when I get home. I purposely avoided looking at the score for awhile because I was worried, but when the Yahoo! front page thing said, "Final Score," I just had to sneak a peek.

All American final, but I am rooting for Misty and Kerri. They should go out like Phelps, with a gold. The best woman's beach vball pair ever.

It's a lot easier to watch when I know the result. Otherwise my blood pressure would be going through the roof!

Are they going to even mention, much less show us USA team 2, who did a darn good job getting into the final as well?

Are they going to even mention, much less show us USA team 2, who did a darn good job getting into the final as well? It was live and they showed highlights on NBC Sports earlier.

That was a great match! A lot more action than I saw in the first matches in pool play.

Watched this match in the wee hours of this morning...was a good one to watch. No one's lead was ever safe.
Walsh was the spark that led the comeback in the first set.
