Who was the recruit at the match on Thursday, saw her with the girls at Ala Moana on sat. Megan Huff a 6'2 OH/MB for Washington that also plays basketball. Do you know if Shoji is looking at her as an OH or MB?

I'd assume she's being recruited to be a middle since vorster will be a junior and adolpho will be in her final season.

Heard Shoji was at the Kahuku/Farrington game this past Tuesday. Hoping Kahuku's Adora Anae chooses to stay home and play at UH for 2014. She's also being recruited by Utah, UCLA, and Cal. She would do well in Hawaii's quick offense.

Wasn't there a story in the Star-Advertiser saying that she verbally committed to Utah, but, there seems to be a lots of pressure from friends and relatives to remain in Hawaii? It sounded like her commitment is not 100 percent and finalized. However, more than likely she will remain true to her original commitment, but we won't actually know until November.

Yes, she gave a verbal commitment to Utah, but in a recent article talked about her sister being homesick playing away in college, and how nice it would be for her to play at home.

Hawaii gets Megan Huff www.federalwaymirror.com/sports/231216771.htmlTook official visits to Oregon, San Francisco, UC Irvine, New Mexico, and numerous unofficial visits. Says she might play basketball at UH so that means she is primarily here for volleyball.

So...2014 is like this: 6'2 MB Huff 6'2 MB Maglio (or something) 6'3 OH Greeley 5'9 DS Gianna Guinasso 5'8 DS Savanah Kahakai
Now, any one targeted as a Libero. After watching Longo play, Dave should get a top notch Libero.

Not to be a downer, but with the troubles we have experienced this season that list of outside hitters does not sound that promising other than Taylor...still yet to see Passi and Greeley, but with Olevao and Long as outside hitters, I believe the Wahine will struggle, unless Olevao uses the off-season to work on her game.

I agree. Hopefully, Hawaii will get a transfer OH, but Olevau has yet to show she can be a go-to player, or yet, be consistent above .250 hitter if Hawaii is gonna be good.

There is a report that Shoji is recruiting someone in Russia. Apparently, she made a video that makes fun of her height. I believe this is the video:
