This thread has inspired me to conduct a statistical analysis of the Wolverines' recent improvement in hitting percentage: volleymetrics.blogspot.com/

Thank you alantech. Great analysis!
Michigan is a young team with as many as three to five freshmen on the court at one time. Tiffany Morales has been fantastic at Libero, having garnered Freshman/Defensive B1G player of the week once. Kelly Murphy and Ally Davis have had incredible moments. Krystalyn Goode has been starting from the beginning of the season at MB and has been getting better every week. She will be a force on offense and is already a major player blocking and getting her hands on many attack attempts. Lindsey Lerg has been coming in to serve, but has also had to come in when Morales got hurt and did a great job. And Carly Warner is a very good setter that would start at many B1G schools.
Along with the veterans, this team has really come together. It will be interesting to see them finish out.
Go Blue!

How about Michigan setter Lexi Dannimiller! Well deserved back to back B1G Setter of the Week awards. Michigan passing, hitting and blocking have been terrific but the setting has been superb.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Michigan's next challenge is to prove it can win a significant conference game on the road. Its 2 conference road wins were against Indiana and Iowa, teams they should have beaten. It will be fun to see if their new-found confidence, line-up, and playing style will translate into some road wins in the last 4 conference games. Well, I guess we know the answer to that question.
