Do we know when Hugh will officially announce the recruiting class of 2013?

Future Gopher Hannah Tapp apparently possesses a pretty deadly, dangerous, painful jump serve. Go look at Alyssa Goehner twitter. She posted a picture of her forearm after receiving a jumper from Hannah Tapp and she has a hugeee red mark on her arm. I hope she gets to use it starting next year! Her serve is nothing to get too excited about. Good but not great.

Minnesota may get a big time transfer! Robinson? God, I'd love that. She deserves that, too.

The Tapp sisters and Wilhite will be starting their third year as teammates when they join the Gophers. In club ball, they won gold at USAV together as 17's and they are playing together as 18's this year.

I'm not really sure I want Robinson to come to Minnesota. It would be nice to use her talent and experience, but I believe one of Hauer, Wilhite, Mau, P. Tapp or Bohl (if they get the libero, not sure she will ever play front row though) will be able to fill our open outside sport. Plus it would only be a year, and then you risk losing somebody who is not getting PT. Maybe if she was an All-American Middle I would feel different. Now I won't complain if she decides to come, because I am all for anybody wanting to come to Minnesota, and I really want them to win a National Championship!

They don't have the athletes. They can be top 10, but Hugh needs different athletes to compete with PSU, Texas, Stanford, USC, probably even Nebraska.

Minnesota went 1-1 this year with the new national champions. I think that tells us they can compete with anyone! Michigan beat Stanford this year. Minnesota was 1-1 with Michigan this year. I think any of the above-mentioned teams can beat any of the above-mentioned teams as they've proven. Your statement just doesn't make sense.

She played for Tennessee but is from Illinois. Let me make it clear that I have ZERO idea if she is the transfer dorothy is talking about. I just know Robinson is leaving Tennessee. I have no idea where she's headed.

Minnesota cannot win a national title with the players they currently have and the ones coming in next year. I'm sorry if you think this does not make sense, but they can't. By the way, if you think Minnesota could have gone 1-1 against the Texas team of November/December, I'm afraid your glasses are decidedly rose-tinted. Top ten program, no doubt. But they are losing the arms race. Badly. Now, there is a possibility that you put together a team with superior chemistry, but maybe lesser talent. Oregon is an example. Michigan, at least in November/December, was another. So, yes, it's not impossible. But is that the sort of program Hugh's trying to build? I doubt it. He wants -- needs -- better athletes.
