It's like... REALLY blue. Yes... yes it was. Michigan paid me off, but I had to give the money back. Edit your profile and select ... I think it was Default (mine had been Traditional VT), and it's ... less blue.

Clicking on the thread from the main menu takes you to the first page of the thread, not the last. That's no good either.
Is this where these comments should go?

Initial reaction, I like version 4 formatting better. Version 5 adds folders icons to each thread. Also each thread apperas to use twice as much vertical space so you have to scroll way to much. Trying to figure out if I can control formatting on my side.

The Halloween format is quite attractive, imo.

In the previous version, we had an option in our profiles so that we didn't have to see the "avatars" of other people. If possible, it would be good to have this option again. (I looked for it, but couldn't find it.)
I find all those avatars very distracting. Many people have avatars of startling banality.

Ooh! An oxymoron. 2pts for mike.
(My avatar is not banal in any way. Your default one, however ...)

Man, when I logged on here after school today, the new version scared the crap outta me!

I like the look. Trying out the functionality will be something a little bit different.

I will say I'm not really a fan of the default avatars. Avatars being WAY more conspicuous than usernames, it makes it all too easy to think the same person is posting 10 times in one thread when it's actually 10 different people. When having no avatar meant....well, /having no avatar/.... that wasn't such a problem, because there was nothing to mentally cue off of.

Too much graphics. Avatars are way too big. Makes it look cheap and juvenile. Other than that I don't see any difference. Maybe functionality is better, but the look of the monster avatars is distracting and horsey.

Got Windows 8 (hate it) last week and now this. I'm just too old for this new stuff. This alien-looking-avatar is annoying, but I don't know how to change it. I also don't know how to change my big picture thingy on facebook, so whatev.

I tried to update my avatar. I have received two different errors so far. First, when I tried to save the avatar using the editor I got an error, and I had to start over. So I went into the avatar editor again and recreated it, and managed to save it. Then, on the profile page, I saw the new avatar and clicked "save changes", and the I got another error message, and my newly created avatar seemed to disappear again.
However, I just went back into my profile and I do see the new avatar set, and I also see it on a posting. So I guess it worked. But the whole thing seems buggy and not ready for production use.

The text size in the reply box is far too small. Needs to be at least two sizes larger.

Ok, my only complaint is that there is an ENORMOUS amount of room for individuals' avatars, resulting in ridiculous amounts of wasted space.
Aside from Ruffda, above, who has an avatar, everyone else doesn't, and it is taking up 2.5 inches for every post. The result - about 4 posts per page now.
