Just in case folks have not noticed, posts that say in their entirety, "Ditto" or "+1" or the even more emphatic "+10" are not really necessary, anymore. That thumbs-up/like button in the upper right hand corner of the post you are dittoing does the job nicely!

I really wish you could use the settings to change the font. I find the new layout is too... what's the word I'm looking for... egalitarian. It doesn't help lead your eye around the page elements in a way that befits the importance of each element. It's like all text in all boxes on all parts of the page have equal importance, so your eyes have to really look at the whole page in order to find what's meaningful to you. The previous UI had differing sizes and typefaces and colors to break up the page and let you quickly scan just the elements you wanted to.
I know I could set up a custom CSS in my browser, but really who wants to do that for every page on the Web?

Is it me, or is everyone constantly getting connection errors for about the last month on VT?

Did you know that after someone "likes" your post, you can edit it to something like "Hitler wasn't so bad" and make both of you look like fools?
I'm going to do it!

Is there a block/hide poster function? I've heard there is, but I can't figure it.

Is there a block/hide poster function? I've heard there is, but I can't figure it. Yep! Just go to the person's user page (click on their name), and then click the wheel on that page. It gives you the hilariously dichotomous options of "Block Member" and "Give Member Gift." I've blocked about 4 people. It's unfortunately occasionally necessary.
