This one is great. Include salary requirements. I would put down 30-70,000. Let them narrow it down from there. They want people to hang themselves it seems. Salary at Ursaline will be 40k. That's decent if there's money for an assistant and how that compares across the conference along with the rest of the program funding. D2 has so many different levels across the regions and truly competitive programs are generally in the stacked regions.

D2 has so many different levels across the regions and truly competitive programs are generally in the stacked regions. Unlike most jobs, there are NO other duties...it is 100% full-time coaching. If they hire someone, it will not happen until into season a week or two. Keeping current assistant (yes, there is an assistant coach) as interim for this year is not completely off table due to timing.

Heard a rumor that Sam Ojie was fired from LSU today. Supposedly he had a disagreement and there was an ultimatum which caused Sam to get fired!!!
If this is true it is very unfortunate because Sam is an amazing guy and coach. Definitely a loss for LSU but in a way good for Sam because he gets to go be with his wife in Canada.

www.uwgsports.com/index.aspx?path=wvball&This is the best option at this point considering the timing of the resignation of Gary. Trina is a wonderful person and will bring energy and passion for the 4 months that she is here. The kids already love her and are chomping at the bit to get in the gym. I suspect that it will be a very good season at UWG.

More to do with his personal life and new wife than any issue at LSU. That's from a player currently there.

There isn't really much to complain about with an August hire no matter who it is. The music has stopped. Everyone just needs a chair, or someone to fill a chair. The only thing you can say is "why didn't they do something sooner?" but even then, most of the jobs hiring now tried to go sooner but either they lost their candidate or HR got in the way. This had been planned for a while, just not announced till recently.

Sam wishes the team and especially the players at LSU the best, he does still have a strong emotional bond with them.
