George Mason athletic director Tom O'Connor was at the GMU game where we beat a pretty bad Fordham team 3-1. Despite the win, he was taking notes in a notebook and didn't look impressed with the outing. With a lot of our teams struggling, being mediocre or not meeting expectations in the first year of our membership in the A-10. It certainly doesn't seem like a good prospect when the AD is at the volleyball game constantly looking at the coach, shaking his head, and writing notes. I think a change here is coming sooner than later. PK is closing in on 30 years as a head coach at Mason. There has rarely been turn over for poor seasons in that athletic department. Unless O'Connor, who has been there a while himself, has had a change in philosophy I doubt there will be any turn over. PK is a class act coach. Unless she is retiring, I doubt there will be a change. Don't know anything about the GMU situation (if there even is one), but my curiosity sent me to their website after reading this. There are no assistants on staff at GMU-has this always been the case for them? Surely it is incredibly rare for a D1 program for a HC to have no help, not even a GA.

45-55K...is it me or does that seem pretty low? For at a Division III position, that is pretty good.

She has assistants, not sure about the web.

Look for opening in HCAC (DIII in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky). Not sure when it will be announced.

Cal Tech; one of the great nerd factories where students have to play a sport. Basketball team recently broke a 200 odd losing streak. Unique job I'd apply for if at all qualified. May anyway.
