Hey you troublemaker Yes PSU was a charter and no the whole plane was not for them only. The PSU cheerleaders and Pep Band as well as the LION were all on-board. ALL arrived safe and sound just a little bit ago. Rumour is the LION had a "WE ARE " chant over the Mississippi.

I just ran into members of the Wisconsin band, they brought 20 members to Seattle in addition to the team, they said it was cramped inside that plane.

I doubt the plane was filled even close to 50% capacity.

My question is...how many teams charter on a regular basis in season?
I have heard Wisconsin charters for all of their conference matches.

Why do they do that 'We Are....' chant? Do they forget who they are?

Why do they do that 'We Are....' chant? Do they forget who they are? I went to a state school down in the South. We did a "I IS...." cheer. Subject/verb agreement and singular/plural always got me in Engrish class.

Wisconsin charters for many of their conference matches, though sometimes they bus. It depends on the schedule and how long of a drive it is. For example, this year, they bussed to Iowa on Tuesday afternoon for a Wednesday game, then chartered home after the game so the players could get to class the next day. Same for Minnesota. I believe they bussed to and home from Northwestern. They bussed to Champaign, but they seemed to have chartered home because one of the players tweeted that the aerial view of the Capitol never gets old.

I just saw a photo that sure looks like Tx is chartering. The team flew on a chartered plane.
