Star Trek Discovery
Quite good. Some twists I didn't see coming.

Poldark (s3)
It's surprising this TV show is entertaining even though it's just a prime time British soap. George Warleggan is one of the most hateful villains in TV history.

Succession. Best thing on HBO since Sopranos. In some ways, it may be a notch above the Sopranos. It takes a couple episodes to get in the groove. Season 1 very, very good. Season 2 off the charts. (Honorable mention: The Righteous Gemstones also on HBO)

I second the endorsement of Succession. It's Game of Thrones without the costumes and dragons, and with a coherent plot. Season 2 finale was great.
And another show with no likable characters, like the Sopranos. Not easy to pull off.

I see from the photos that Brian Cox is among the cast. He always plays a creepy or corrupt character in nearly everything he's in. Thoroughly unlikable.

Trivia question last week, which I missed. My 7yo likes it. Alas.
I am told there's a Gravity Falls tie-in.

I've never watched Gravity Falls (or Rick and Morty). I have read When Gravity Fails, though. George Alec Effinger.

Gravity Falls is pretty good, especially compared to the other crap he watches.

The wife and I -- pre-children -- used to play Buzztime trivia all the time. Loved it. I think the first time I played was in a bar in Seattle, when I was visiting a friend, almost 30 years ago.
