Lost in Space (2018)
Watching the remake TV series. It’s actually not bad except that I can’t get over the fact that the robot creature (“Danger, Will Robinson”) suffers amnesia (or a reboot, I guess) from a space ship crash and develops a protective instinct toward Will Robinson.

I'm watching Succession right now. I thought the first few episodes were pretty good, though not exceptional. But the last act of the sixth episode was so good I had to rewatch it a couple more times. I was also delighted by the addition of the legendary James Cromwell. Looking forward to the rest of it.

Lost in Space (2018)
Done with the entire first season. Not bad, but a tad irritating because characters make stupid decisions. And they’ve got a smart woman who’s really really bad at communicating important pieces of info. Just want to strangle her.
I also don’t like Parker Posey in the role of the manipulative and fraudulent psycho.

Why does Bam-Bam in The Flintstones cartoon series have superhuman strength as a toddler but is completely normal as a young adult?

Firefly's sad history of being $#%!ed by their network started with the very first episode. Joss wrote a really fine story that explained the backstory and introduced all the characters -- and then the network said, "No, we want more action." The writers had two days to write a new first episode.
The network finally showed the originally intended pilot episode ... a couple of days after they had announced they were cancelling the series.

Why does Bam-Bam in The Flintstones cartoon series have superhuman strength as a toddler but is completely normal as a young adult? According to his Wikipedia article, Bamm-Bamm was just as super-strong as a teenager, but he rarely chose to display it.

I don't think I liked any of the first half dozen episodes.

Granted, by comparison to the rest of its episodes (I consider The Sopranos to be the second greatest television drama of all time), it's one of the weaker ones. But it's not that bad. The Seinfeld (my pick for best comedy ever) pilot is much, much worse.
