Originally committed to Marquette but decommitted when Bond left. Plays on the same club team as Goehner (and is apparently their setter now since SSS is injured). I haven't seen her play, but the people on this board who have were really impressed with her.

I've watched her live on several occasions. Not the most gifted athletically, but she's fundamentally sound, consistent, accurate with her passes, and knows where to be on the court. You'll like what you get from Abby!

Yes, younger sister Riley also plays volleyball. But she is like 10 or 11 years old. She is in the development program part of the club that Gabby is in.

She has an amazing bump over the net and a wicked underhand serve that puts teams in fits. Sources close to me say that she is looking at stanford. I haven't seen a player of her caliber in years.

Cal announced Altfin, a couple of DS's and a Greek outside. Unless Feller plans on losing a few, that makes 9 DS/Ls on his 2014 roster. Going to get kinda crowded on the bench.

In all seriousness though re: the Simpsons, I have heard that Gabby is supposed to be a bigger prospect than either of her two older sisters. Considering Taylor's play lately, that's saying a lot (and Cierra was quite impressive as a frosh libero too).
