Top tier
Penn state Nebraska Wisconsin( maybe ). They have carlini but they lost Libero. U can't set what hasn't been dug and in not sold on this new Libero yet. Plus they didn't have what u call a dominant big record last year and got a good draw in tourney. So my judgement is still open on them
2nd tier
Minnesota Purdue Illinois
3rd tier
Michigan Michigan state Ohio state Northwestern
4th tier
Iowa( could suprise people and move up some but that will have to be seen ) Maryland Rutgers Indiana
This is my opinion based a lot on history and incomming and current talent

Because of their schedule and Penn State having to rely on frosh, probably, I will take Wisconsin #1 and Penn State 2nd, with Nebraska third, although I didn't scope out their schedule. Purdue 4th, Illinois 5th, Minnesota 6th, Michigan State 7th, Michigan 8th, Ohio State 9th, who knows after that. And what do I know.

The Big Ten title race will likely be much closer this year. Penn State will be good but I don't think they'll dominate the conference as much as they did last year. PSU, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Purdue all could be contenders. Michigan, MSU, and Ohio State lost some good players so they might struggle. I'll be pretty surprised if Rutgers manages to win a single Big Ten match.

This is just my preseason opinion. Without seeing anyone play. Could there be suprises, of course

I'm glad badgers finally getting in preseason mix with usc. Neb psu Illinois does it every year but it will make badgers program stronger. This comming from psu fan. That's how u get respect. Good move for that program

Wisconsins defense is what kept them in raleys and loss of Libero could hurt Morey is a fantastic Libero, she was named to the US Collegiate National team as a freshman she started for ND. She was Indiana's Gatorade Player of the year and First Team Under Armour All-American in high school. She has a ton of experience and is already match proven. No real loss at this position and she could turn out to be better.

Didn't you know Carlini can also play libero? Enough comedy. WI is okay. Their libero is playing with the college national team. She was all Big East as a freshman and AA in high school, in fact IN's POY. She'll be just fine. We also have some other DS's that are more than okay. As for all similar comments, I say don't make a comment if you don't have a clue.

My guess is that a number of people will be looking for Wisconsin to pull a "Michigan".
Probably the Michigan players and coaches are at the top of that list.
BINGO!

Good. I don't want other programs to particularly like Wisconsin. It has often been said that the most popular coach in any league is the one who finishes last. I don't want the program to be liked more than others because they lose to people. In the same vein, I don't like Penn State or Nebraska at all and only want them to win to increase league prestige and RPI. I respect them, though.

Before Carlini and before Wisconsin made it to the finals, you guys has maybe four or five loyal fans on the board. But since they've made it far and have Carlini, the bandwagon fans have come out of the woodwork and most of the time, they make the true fans look bad

I am very hesitant to pick the Badgers as the favorite in 2014; third place is a better bet.
