Is there a way to find out what assistants are full time? I was looking into doing a comparison chart within regions and how it translated to success and longevity of success or coaching regimes. So for a specific example: Comparing the GLVC - GLIAC, which programs have 1 FT Asst. (or more), GA, SA, etc. Then the NSIC - MIAA, etc etc.
Would love to have other posters input if they know any information!

The NCAA salary survey would have some of this info but they don't identify the school

I think it's the AVCA salary survey. I bet you could get it from one of the D2 coaches.

yes, sorry, AVCA.
there is no link. it is only sent to coaches who fill out the survey, and only for their division.

Another place that you can go is here: ope.ed.gov/athletics/Index.aspxThey have the full-time and part-time data for every collegiate program in the NCAA (DI, DII, & DIII) along with the NAIA. It will not include GA's and SA's though.

Wow, very surprised at how many part time HC there are (full time with other duties) and how few and how little asst. coaches are getting paid. There were a few AC's that were FT coaches and getting paid well, but not as many as I expected. The GLIAC and MIAA seem to treat the asst.'s in all sports better than most others...

How does that report work vis a vis coaches with additional ath. dept. duties? Is their additional salary not included? Either way many of these salaries are barely livable. But I guess that's the (unjust) nature of the beast.
