I cannot wait to see what this Michigan State class can do. I expect all of them to compete for starting positions.

It looks like the Big Ten is going to rock and roll this year. Is the one of the classes of great talent or is the Big Ten just getting a larger share of the talent than normal?

I think that Purdue class is going to make the biggest impact immediately. Florida's may prove to be better than 5 four years from now.

Psu just keeps Rollin in talent and I don't think it's gonna stop for awhile. A lot of people wanna play for Russ and their are others that like Rockwell. With them both there I think your gonna continue to get a tidalwave of players in there. Last time those two were together they built those teams that won 4 straight and had that ridiculous undefeated streak

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on the timing, but Michigan pulling in four Fab-50s seems to correlate to capitalizing on their final-four appearance a couple years ago. I think it's their most talented/regarded class in school history.

I think it's their most talented/regarded class in school history. They (along with pretty much all impact 2014s) were all already committed by December 2012. 2015 is the class they were recruiting off of that run.

It looks like the Big Ten is going to rock and roll this year. Is the one of the classes of great talent or is the Big Ten just getting a larger share of the talent than normal? A. I wouldn't look towards a wave of quality freshmen and say the Big 10 is going to rock and roll this year. Freshmen, as a whole, rarely make statement defining contributions. B. The big 10 was going to rock and roll this year anyway, since the late 2000's, and especially with the addition of Nebraska, the Big 10 has cemented itself as the premier conference C. The big 10 isn't getting a "larger share" of the talent per say, it's getting the same amount of players it always has, it's just that those players are getting better. They are mostly pulling kids from areas they have always pulled from, but the talent level in the juniors of the midwest and east is just as good or better than anywhere in the country, and has been for a while. *just to put in a Pac-12 prop, in this poll it's 5 big 10 to 4 Pac-12, but the Pac-12 is missing Stanford (who doesn't need to recruit this year) who would no doubt bring in a top 3 recruiting class any year they have a number of openings available.

Did anyone else catch that Canace Finley is listed under San Diego as a transfer from Oregon? That's new information to vtalk. Could she be the big time PAC transfer people were hinting at a while ago? No confirmation, but I doubt VBMag would just make that up.

With all the early verbal commits and the sheer number of transfers that go on in NCAA sports, in general, it's hard to get too excited about any Top-Whatever recruiting class. 25 years ago you could say that class would stay together for 4 years and maybe rise to the top by the time they were seniors. Today, who knows? I wonder what the actual percentage is overall per class, in terms of how many athletes stay and play for a full 4 years at the school they original committed to.
