Nope..you cannot pin that all on her. When the Chips were down she executed. She had a rough year no doubt but...lets see what she can do this coming season. I didn’t pin it all on her. I said Sweet and Sun were the ones that hurt us the most. Sweet played well against Illinois but was a disaster against Stanford I think cook and camp are looking forward to working with lots of players on development for 2019. They really dont have a go-to-player as of now. A whole new back court will need to be established. Knuckles, Miller, densberger will have a dog fight for libero. And cook is going to love developing that, as well as banwarth. They will need to really work with those kids. Sun and Sweet have lots to work out offensively. I think Cook loves this type of thing. He is not big on practices that center around maintaining wins. He loves the xhallange of getting players better individually, and then see that blossom in December. I think he is pretty excited to work on all his players next year. Everyone will need serious attention within their roles as individuals. I know cook has lots of plans to get Hames into a superior setter. He is looking forward to the off season in spring and sand.

JAZZ really was a difference maker in the tourney. She came around and whatever issues she had during season hopefully have been put to rest. She was a big time gamer when we needed her the most. No way was she a difference maker. If she was a difference maker we would have 3 national championships in the past 4 years. It didn’t help that Sun disappeared too in the final. We were a couple of converted shots away from winning it all. I would think Sweet hit below .200. She had numerous shots blocked
There's a line to be drawn between Nebraska's offensive balance, and the outcome of the championship match, in my opinion. Foecke, 71 attempts. Schwarzenbach, 10. Can't put it all on Sweet and Sun, when we don't set our M2.

Agree. When a match is this close, there are countless variables that, had they gone differently would have resulted in a Husker victory. To place blame on one or two players, or one or two plays is ridiculous IMO.

It’s good to see them get an early start +1; It helps get acclimated to the system sooner! Not all girls can graduate from high school early though! GO HUSKERS

She had numerous shots blocked To me, the difference in the Stanford match came down to two things: Nebraska was a minus six to a plus one for Stanford in the difference between aces and serving errors. Seven points was the difference in serving only based on that statistic. Plus the referee overturning the service call at 13-11 in the fifth set. We weren’t going to win at 14-10. Very, very slim chance. The referee only overturned the call bc the challenge system proved it was in.... it wasn’t an opinion call

Seems like I've heard a lot about Francis. Is there any video of her? What year is she and what schools is she deciding between?
