I believe Skylar was the highest ranked libero in 2012 senior aces. Penn State is very fortunate to add her to their roster. PSU is usually one of the last schools to update their roster website every year.

Nice job, nyline. I see you haven't just been twiddling your thumbs during the off-season.

Nice job, nyline. I see you haven't just been twiddling your thumbs during the off-season. Thanks. Actually, a lot of thumb-twiddling, plus some disasters stemming from site redesign. Plus, my extremely talented, but notoriously lazy team of researchers and statisticians, offered to help only when colder weather arrived (I think their exact phrasing was "when hell freezes over"). So I'm not quite done.

Based on the usual knock on their subscribers, wouldn't it be more like this?

I did not see Erica Denney on the roster, has she retired from v-ball due to injury?

View AttachmentBased on the usual knock on their subscribers, wouldn't it be more like this? I think you win (though that may be because you were the only person to fess up (subtly) to checking.). Your prize is a year's subscription to DigNittanyVolleyball.com, which always has been, and remains, entirely free. Plus, lunch with our crack team of researchers and statisticians (a) if you can find them, and (b) if you pay. Such a deal

View AttachmentBased on the usual knock on their subscribers, wouldn't it be more like this? Well seeing as both of these were built to honor the DEAD, I think they are both just perfect!

Did I just count 9 girls listed as a DS (or DS/L or DS/S) on the roster? Seems excessive.

If you want your schedule to be completely correct, Stanford University is not actually in the city of Palo Alto. It is in the city of Stanford. Palo Alto is the adjoining town.

Did I just count 9 girls listed as a DS (or DS/L or DS/S) on the roster? Seems excessive. And what's even stranger is that most of the DS/Ls Russ has in his flock of 9 could very well start at a lot of high level D1s. Typically defensive players have tremendous drive and passion to play. Other than paying to practice and be on a national champion team, I really don't get it. I know it takes a team to win, and it's important to have high level players to practice against but 9 does seem so excessive. I've heard the saying many times in reference to club team questions and college questions, "play on the best team you can play on". But hey, more power to them. They are ok with not ever seeing the court, as they know it going in.
