Only the third time the US has finished in the top two of this tournament. Brazil has finished in the top two on 13 other occasions. The match will be at 11:30 AM Pacific. Here is a link that should be live at that time. Live StreamHere is a preview I put together. WORLD LEAGUE FINAL PREVIEW

Always the same, serve-receive must be on. Against this Brazil there is key point: their passing has been solid which allows Bruninho set very fast, removing any chances to stop Wallace, Sidão, Lucas or Lucarelli.Tomorrow, big US servers must have lots of "nuclear energy" to hit, with strenght (jump), crafty (float) but also with accuracy (not many errors, pls). Doing that US might start limiting Brazil's side out.

I'd like the match to go five but I think it'll be Brazil 3-1. Last year Lucas ran four consecutive aces at the end of the set similar to Zaytsev and Skrimov this year. Hope for a similar service performance from him, Wallace, or Lucarelli.

I'd like the match to go five but I think it'll be Brazil 3-1. Last year Lucas ran four consecutive aces at the end of the set similar to Zaytsev and Skrimov this year. Hope for a similar service performance fce, or Lucarelli. Of the top 5 world volleyball teams, USA is the only one that make this type of allowance, i.e., 24 - 20 and in the end a guy from the service line throw 5/6 bombs, USA giving away the set. That also happen in a middle of a set when USA is 3/4 pts ahead. Against Iran things were more steady, but remember they missed a bunch of serves, so let's hope the same will happen again vs Brazil. Maybe someone might think there are more than this but let me remind you that vs Bulgaria 2nd match, 1st set that's exactly what occured, Skrimov nightmare. in 2nd set USA lost all the concentration, only recovered later.

Are the live streams available in the US? I keep getting "server not found" or "not available in US" messages at SportlemonTV for the Iran-Italy match. I am afraid it will do the same for the Finals unless I take action now.

streams from laola tv are blocked in usa if nbc has contract for the matches (so they dont work from sportlemon either). the IPTV links i listed above (copy URL) work in many media players (open URL - paste), of which i list 2 - vlc & simpletv - both free. if you want english commentary i guess you will have to pay for it or find something i havent found yet

Vinnie...fyi that laola1 link u provide will not work once the match starts. They block every match in the USA for WL matches due to TV contract rights. Very excited for today. Will be very interesting to see what the match-ups are. If USA gets matched up w/ Rooney on Bruno...Captain can have another big match. The other interesting thing will be who we serve today. My 1st instinct would be to serve Lucarelli. After looking over the stats from the Finals and some of pool...I'm pretty surprised at what I found. Lucarelli hasn't been aced in the Finals over 3 matches and has been served the least amount by a wide margin over Mario and Murilo. Against Russia, Mario passed 44, Murilo 19, & Lucarelli 16 (13 excellent). Against Iran...he only passed 9 balls (6 excellent) while Iran worked Mario and #22 Loh. Finally vs. Italy...Mario passed 21 balls, Murilo 14, & Lucarelli 4. So OBV my instinct to serve Lucarelli runs counter to what all 3 Finals coaches have thought! So I would imagine we work Mario and Murilo hard on their seams today and hope to keep Brazil out of system as much as possible. USA 3-2!!!!
