USC is going to be scary good (even more so than now) in the next few years.

Goddamnit, not even fair.
USC is taking it to another level. Their 2016 is not losing many sets, if any. L1: Lanier L2: Gillis/Ruddins R1: Nwanebu R2: Abercrombie MB1: Dunn MB2: Ogoms? Who cares? S1: Pizzasegola S2: Johnson L: Schmidt
BTW, I kept stats for her in the 16 Open Finals at JNC, she had 10 kills per set, hit .550, and passed a 2.6. Ridic.

she's very good. Glad she's staying in the Pac-12, but my god, the last thing USC is another high profile OH in the next few seasons...By 2016 no team in the country will have more top 10 OH's than USC. Gillis, Ruddins, Nwanebu, and Abercrombie already are top 10, Wallace Ford probably will be in 2015, and Lanier has all the potential to land in the top 10 in 2016. USC could put together two completely separate 5-1 teams and both of them could compete with any team in the country. Sickening, just sickening. Btw, she's class of 2016...at this point she doesn't "choose" Stanford, Stanford first has to choose her.

She sounds like a great player; wish she had chosen Texas, although I didn't think we had any 'ships left for 2016. USC also has a verbal commitment from a 2017 OH from Pearland, TX.

Doesn't USC also have a good chance to snag 2017 Lexi Sun? If they do, that hitting corp would be unreal.
Are there any other 2016 commits besides Lanier? They would be replacing the class of Bricio/Ogoms/Sary/Wright.

How old will Mick be in 2016?
Is Nollan a coach in waiting, there? Or will that job be an open hire?

She sounds like a great player; wish she had chosen Texas, although I didn't think we had any 'ships left for 2016. USC also has a verbal commitment from a 2017 OH from Pearland, TX. the 2017 you are talking about is Botkin from Pearland HS & AVA 15 Rox - she's going to be a setter at USC. She sets and hits right now. She pursued USC, and they said "6'1" freshman setter wants to come to us - OKAY" she's no where near where she needs to be, but should get there.
