Abercrombie sounds good enough to keep SC in a 6-2 with rotating OPP. Bingo. Abercrombie is better attacking in the front row than nwanebu would be attacking in the back row. Plus it gives a better block than what either setter could muster up. Abercrombie is a pure stud, the best attacking pin hitter in the class. You don't bench her.

You know...I'm a little shocked at how few people think Vansant won't repeat as Pac-12 POY. My homerism aside, why do people think that she won't repeat? Especially considering that the competition mentioned here are 3 rotation players, and 3 rotation players almost NEVER win the award. Nwanebu is expected to play 6 rotations this year, at least that is what was hinted at last year by Haley. Inky only plays 3 rotations, but there is no denying that she is a game changer for Stanford, much like Wopat was when she was in the running for Pac-12 POY. I'm thinking Inky was better than Wopat by the end of last season AND she still has plenty of upside potential.

Easily the best MB/MH in the country I would say athletically the only one challenging her maybe Khat Bell but Ajanaku can jump out the gym. She's so fast and is a blocking machine. She will be more of a threat. Stanford maybe seeing the rise of another Foluke here.

She has caught Karch's attention plus she will be entering her Junior season I think she has potential to be. Name one better than her in the NCAAs now.

The statement was that she's the next Foluke. She's nowhere near the player Foluke Akinradewo was. Are you comparing her to the middle blockers currently playing in NCAA volleyball? Or, are you comparing her to Foluke?

Ajanaku isn't better than Foluke now (she may never be), but in terms of potential, having better timing would conceivably help her in both attacking and blocking.

Or, are you comparing her to Foluke? exactly, she very well may be the best MB this year, but that's compared to all the other MB's who are playing...that doesn't make her better than one of the all time greats. And, all things on the table, while I think that Ajanaku is very skilled and athletic, being the best MB this year isn't really saying much, especially when your national competition are from players like McCage, Grant, Ogbogu, Haggerty and a bunch of freshmen. My hopes are not high for many dominate MB's this year.
