Is there a list anywhere that shows which programs now have sand volleyball?

What is the " Northern California Sand Volleyball Consortium"? I see that Santa Clara is in but doesn't seem to advertise a stand alone program.

What is the " Northern California Sand Volleyball Consortium"? I see that Santa Clara is in but doesn't seem to advertise a stand alone program. Pretty much just what the name says. A consortium of northern California schools that all agreed to add sand volleyball, so they could play each other and have a season without much travel. Santa Clara has participated for two seasons already, but it is true, they don't have anything (except the initial press release) on the Broncos website. Seven schools played in 2013, SJSU started in 2014. See also volleytalk.net/thread/53761/

Johnbar, Thanks for the response; Is the program a stand alone, ie) can you tryout for just Sand?

Johnbar, Thanks for the response; Is the program a stand alone, ie) can you tryout for just Sand? Sorry, I have no idea what goes on at Santa Clara. Most of the NorCal schools have relied on indoor players and coaches. Stanford did add two sand-only players (not on scholarship, AFAIK) this past Spring (one of whom had been on the indoor team in the past). It's possible SCU would do the same. But given they don't even have a website for it, IDK.
