Well she has taken it down. So does anyone want to tell us what it said?

Well she has taken it down. So does anyone want to tell us what it said? If she took it down, she didn't want people to see it and we should respect that, shouldn't we?

If she posted it, she wanted people to see it, and someone likely advised her to take it down. That's a different matter altogether dorothy.

It was posted on a public page and subsequently re-posted. The right to privacy was abdicated. Now, if the response had been--She's a good kid who made a mistake out of frustration or inexperiance, and we ought to cut her some slack--I'm all in.

Does the content of the post qualifies as a "mistake"? And did she delete it or just protect her Twitter account (which I advise any student-athlete to do anyways)?

The mistake, as I see it, is her posting anything at all about her condition--at least from the point of view of Nebraska staff.

I do think she should not have posted what she posted due to the attention that Nebraska volleyball receives. I really wish it were not that way though. I think what she posted was very innocent and very similar to what other student-athletes post during their preseasons. There just seems to be a bit of overreaction with twitter. I feel like if she were to post something like, "Uh, I have been coughing all day," people would come to the conclusion that she has bronchitis or something.

Not a great example.
