In Utah for a few days, and got nostalgic and headed over to my old stomping grounds and snuck a peek at practice. I had never seen Hamson in person. Very impressed with how well she moves for someone 6'7". She crushed some balls as did Alexa Gray.
That's all. Nothing earth shattering, I know. Seriously considering coming back 9/5 when they play Washington.

You resisted the urge to jump in the scrimmage and show the youngsters how you did it back in the day?

For anyone who is interested in watching to my understanding their match against Washington will be broadcast live on BYU TV. I am saving the date and will definitely be tuning in. It is certainly one of the most exciting non conference match ups of the year. Vansant and Gray two of the best OH's in the country. I have Washingon favored but BYU is going to be a tough out at home.

UW is 0-11 all-time against BYU. The fact that the September 5th match is being played in Provo won't help the Huskies, especially after they open the season with cupcakes like Portland State, Gonzaga, and Boise.

You resisted the urge to jump in the scrimmage and show the youngsters how you did it back in the day? 'Twas tough, but I held back.

Perhaps coming to Provo was part of the Kylin agreement? :) BTW, UW posted a note that Kylin is playing pro in Germany. I continue to think that was a really classy move by BYU, and I think it certainly helped the Huskies make it to the FF last year.
