In addition to SEC football, there is going to be a lot of SEC volleyball televised.
Most home games for SEC schools? Being able to watch Texas team sports on LHN has been great - should be the same for SEC schools.

From Kentucky website. Probably true for all the conference schools. Every Volleyball Home Match, All SEC Contests to Air on SEC NetworkLEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky volleyball team is used to playing in front of a national audience in recent years, but in 2014 it will be taken to unprecedented levels. A total of 27 matches, including every home contest and all of UK’s Southeastern Conference road matches, will be broadcast nationwide to the 90 million-plus subscribers of the SEC Network.
In total, 27 of the Wildcats’ 31 matches can be seen by a nationwide audience in 2014 on the SEC Network +, the network’s digital platform. Those 27 matches, available to all SEC Network subscribers on SECNetwork.com or on WatchESPN and the WatchESPN app, will coincide with eight previously-announced contests that will air live on the SEC Network and ESPNU.

Yeah, very happy with the SEC Network and SEC Network + coverage for this season. Best part is that down here it's included in basic cable (not a premium sports package) which makes it easily accessable. The conference will definitely benefit from this exposure as recruits will be able to follow this conference and it's schools and their parents will like how they will potentially be able to see their children's careers.

So, the Texas @ Florida match is on a Saturday night after the Gators' football game, and on SECN+? What does that mean? Not on TV, but online only? Really wish that match was on Friday or Sunday. Our football game against BYU is that same evening, so hope to be able to record it and watch it later.

That was the major coup with getting Maryland and Rutgers. They're going to be useless in competition in all but a couple sports (men's and women's basketball for Maryland and women's basketball for Rutgers), but by getting BTN onto the basic tier for every household in the NYC/Newark/New Brunswick and D.C./Baltimore areas, the Big Ten is making a boatload of cash.

Does this mean the selection committee will see more sec games and select either: more, less, or same number of teams in the tourney for 14?

Interesting that the football and volleyball games overlap in Gainesville.
My understanding was that on game days there would be multiple SECNetwork stations available to carry the different conference football games. I believe that's how the Big 10 network handles things.
I'll be at the Texas BYU game so hopefully will be able to dvr the volleyball match.

I have ATT Uverse. I believe the Big 10 Network is part of a separate sports package, but maybe because we are not part of the Big 10 footprint???

I have a sports package with Charter, but it says I am not authorized for the SEC Network. I hope I can buy it, although I think it should be part of the sports package, especially out of region. It is absurd that you can't buy any channel out there in 2014 from any provider.

Great, so now more people can actually see what most here on volleytalk have said throughout the years, the SEC is overrated.

Obviously, football is king. And, on Saturdays in the Fall, SEC Network will show football games all day long. So, too bad the volleyball match wasn't scheduled for Friday or Sunday where it wouldn't have to compete with football games for viewers.
I only have one SEC channel with my ATT Uverse 450 package, and only one BTN. I have like 3 PAC network channels, I believe.

SEC Network + is content streamed live through the WatchESPN applications and websites. As some have stated, you only get SEC Network and SEC Network + access online by subscribing to a cable service provider that has an agreement provide that content. There are separate agreements that the cable provider has to make to provide live SEC Network through your cable and to provide the associated streaming content of SEC Network and SEC Network + online.
For instance ATT Uverse provides access through cable and online streaming. DirecTV provides only live access through satellite and not the streaming content. To get streaming access the WatchESPN site validates your right to access by providing a login to your cable/satellite provider.
ESPN has stated repeatedly that they would not sell subscriptions to their online content. It must be accessed through local TV service providers. Since the SEC Network is being distributed by ESPN those same restrictions apply.

Do you think, since it's part of ESPN now, that we will be able to watch it after on the WatchESPN app?
