Utah State Erin Kirby SR MB Wyoming Deedra Foss (setter)SR S Colorado State Allison Davies (libero)SR L UNLV Chantale Riddle (Player of the Year) New Mexico
The class of the conference will always be CSU. The Rams face some good OOC competition as they play Wisconsin. The Rams look to win another title, behind 3 all MWC team selections.
Receiving a few first place votes and looking to ride out Pre season player of the year and 3rd Team All American is New Mexico and Chantale Riddle. NM will get a good measuring stick as to how good they are when they host Texas on Aug. 29. They have also scheduled tough traveling to Hawaii to take the Wahine on in other OOC competition.

The Rams were one of the few undefeated teams left in the country but had a poor showing in last years NCAA tourney. They look to improve upon that. With a pre-season poll ranking of 18. They also face Marquette and BYU as some tougher competition. Not to mention traveling to face ASU at home. Their schedule last year was visibly soft. With more challenges they can hope to make a possible deeper run in the NCAAs.
The question on my mind is who will be the better team this year CSU Rams or the Colorado Buff? After years of being the second best team in Colorado the Buffs finally seem poised to be somewhat of a threat in the PAC-12. Too bad these teams do not face each other.

Personally, I think the Buffaloes are better this year than the Rams. I can definitely see them pulling some upsets this year in the Pac12.
