SLO Tribune, believe reported, CAL POLY Jr setter Maddie Kuber had a knee injury.
If, it is true, we might see Fr setter Taylor Nelson start this Friday.
GoPOLY!!!

Jake, the eternal optimist. I like it.
But beware, because a train wreck will turn a lot of heads too....

When I read the title of this thread, I thought the next two words would be "...and cough".

Maybe,...not the overall start coach Crosson expected from his very young Lady'Stangs,...but, again not bad.
In 3 match tourney at Montana, CAL POLY went 1-2,...winning 6 of 13 sets.
Sam Crosson started 5 true freshmen,...pretty amazing when you think about it. CAL POLY could very easily be the youngest D1 team in the country.
With continued hard work, things can only get better.
GoPOLY!!!

The question will be... will Sam continue with this clean slate of Freshies or will he turn back to his returners with some experience?

CSUF (Fullerton) starts 4 freshman 2 sophomores and 3 juniors. A freshman middle rotates with a freshman DS, both are starters right, same for the other positions. The other two freshman are outside and rt.
In one rotation, Fullerton has FRESHMAN-FRESHMAN-FRESHMAN on the front row; and they are all stars!
Fullerton went 2-1 winning 6 0f 10 sets.
In 3 years maybe CPSLO and CSUF will be 1 and 2 in the league.

The question will be... will Sam continue with this clean slate of Freshies or will he turn back to his returners with some experience? It is a good question. I was a little surprise at the starting six. Puzzling,...why hasn't the RS Fr. Lauren Pluim played? She has good size at 6'3,...and, checking out her high school video, shows good moves. The three ladies that did not see action last week,... Lauren Pluim RS Fr. Shannon Fouts RS Fr. Hannah Schleis Jr. GoPOLY!!!
