bucky415, are you going up to the Twin Cities this weekend? Rainbowspouse and I are. Any other Badger fans making the trip? Despite our increase in twitter, season tickets sales, etc, it hasn't translated to too many new active posters on this board, so I expect you'll read chirping.

Yeah, I am ready to go. Heck, if I had more money and days off, I would be heading up there today. I also will be pulling for the Gophers to win on Friday night. I am happy they moved up the first match a half an hour on Saturday so I can get back to Wisconsin earlier. I hope I can find stations to listen to the Wisconsin-LSU game on the way back. Population gets a bit thin on parts of that drive. Hey, we'll look for you! I totally feel you on the radio coverage on that drive. When I was in college, I went with my dad to drive home a car he was buying from an acquaintence in the Twin Cities. He failed to tell me before I agreed to drive the car home that it had just a radio with no cassette player. It was the weekend before Christmas, and on the drive home I had such trouble finding any radio stations with decent reception that I wound up listening to Car Talk, which featured Martha Stewart discussing how best to cook a turkey on a car engine. Longest drive EVER. Update for all: Per the Badgers Twitter, both Wisconsin matches will be live streamed on BTNPlus for a fee. You'll probably still want to listen to Jon Arias on the radio, though.

All of these matches would be fun to watch, will there be any streaming online or is the big ten network picking them up?

I expect the Badgers to sweep the Cardinals on Friday. All the discussion last week was on the scrimmage being cancelled in favor of a practice session. It was very clear that the Badgers are very healthy, very talented and ready to play at a high level. I don't expect Romana to play this weekend, but she appeared ready if needed. Even with her leg all rapped up, she was very impressive and should be a major factor in how far the Badgers go this year. She appears to be that good. Let her heal for another week or two, then let her loose.

Seriously, what does Louisville have. Cardinals have been nose-diving since they ran Lenid out of town. A Maya Mclendon with a year of experience under her belt. Unfortunately for them, that's about it...

I disagree. they were ranked as high as 9th in 2012 with Rucker, Arslanbekova, and a few others. They have some good recruits coming in Molly Sauer (2015) 3 more for that class, Megan Sloane Munciana RS (2016) and a stellar libero Alexis Hamilton from KIVA (2017). There are four solid recruits in 2015 hopefully many more in 2016, 2017, and beyond.

Translation: Our 5'7" OH can beat up their 5'9" OH.

Anne will have a really long leash after how the administration handled the situation with the previous staff. They don't want to look stupid after they bumbled that so terribly. Although that SWA is gone now, so maybe they will realize the error in their ways and get rid of her, since the program has gone down hill significantly since she took over. But with her ties to the local area, I imagine not.

Deme was a rock-star in her incredible role in helping the Badgers to the NCAA Championship match. She was so impressive all-season long. Remind me what Louisville did. Not about to be critical of Maya. That would be absurd. But trust me, Deme was the heart of Badger VB.
