Nice work. A lot of interesting topics to discuss here. I think all of us would love a D-1 true championship. Being on the d-3 side it's been great to have a TRUE championship for our sport.

Guess there has never been a true D1 champion in Men's D1 volleyball. Might as well throw my ring in the garbage. Take notice Coach Scates.

Not classified as an NCAA true championship as there's less than 50 teams competing. Nonetheless...it's still a championship and great accomplishment.

This may sound stupid but I think of the future the NCAA needs to make MVB in college more attractive, 4.5 full rides just doesn't cut it. How are we supposed to grow men's volleyball when only a handful of schools offer I because it's so small?

I agree about the 4.5 scholarships. How about the current D1 mvb schools up their scholarships 1 more per year. NCAA have to approve this? Who is the current D1 mvb liaison with the NCAA?
The blame goes to Title 9, but, there are a bunch of colleges that have decent Title 9 balance....who could add one more scholie a year....
The vb alums of current NCAA D1 programs need to start raising scholie endowment $$. No reason the ADs of those schools can't work with mvb alums like they do with other sports.
