I agree with Dorthy the FSU match could be a huge upset. If Nebraska doesn't play smart and with a sense of urgency and tough they could lose. The first match of the season is tough because teams are getting their feet under them. You never know what will happen early in the season. Nebraska lost to Auburn last year, they could certainly lose to FSU.

Well Neb did just play in front of 6000 at red and white . No pressure of coarse but could help ease the nerves . Tough to look at match ups in this match as know one knows who is actually starting . But if FSU can stay in system with a decent serve receive than they are very tough to defend . That is assuming they run the 6-2 .

As one of the 6,000 fans, I can tell you the atmosphere at those red/white scrimmages is light years away from what it'll be like tonight. There's really little basis for comparison.

Jeff Sheldon tweeted that the set part of the lineup is: OHs: K. Rolfzen/Ostrander, Libero: Wong-Orantes, Setter: Pollmiller (Kelly is redshirting), and Meg Haggety as a MB. Will decide between CeCe and Keil for other MB and Larson/A.Rolfzen as RS. I think this is a good choice,,,IMHO. I just could not see Cook setting Mary down on the first match of the season,,,,,let alone even later on. GBR!
