Holy f---!
So, a few things:
1. I have no memory of this thread whatsoever.
2. I have a lot of great personal memories of 2003 but VT was not one of them. 2003 was a great year because that was the year I retired.
3. I apologize to whoever was "Mr. Mini-Wolfgang" for saying I'll crack open their skull with a baseball bat. That's not my crisis management strategy in real life. If it were, I'd be in jail by now.
4. I had two German Shepherds in 2003. Both passed away in the 2010s. Makes me very sad thinking about it.
5. My three kids were born in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They're now grown-a-- adults with family of their own. So, I'm a grampa. I already announced this in one of my posts.
6. I don't know who "Higgins" is. The last thing you'll find me doing is lounging on a beach sipping some alcoholic beverage. 80% of the time, I'm usually doing this:
7. VT is not my favorite forum. My favorites are the ones I created post-2003.
8. Ruffda will never know it but I considered him my "best friend" even though he was a pain in the a-- sometimes. I miss him. He was so damn funny. At times, I treated him badly because he was such a prick.
9. I think
tomclen is the funniest poster on VT but others had their moments. The funniest post I've ever read, however, is the one where I posted a photo of Scott Wong (when he was a Hawaii associate head coach) and he was sitting next to some pretty lady. On VT, I asked who that lady was. Some guy (I think it was
volleyguy, but can't remember now) replied to my post and said it was Scott Wong sitting next to a mirror. Maaan...I laughed for days...weeks. I still laugh to this day.
10. This thread is embarrassing.
