USC's backcourt isn't fluid and isn't passing well...Which will be par for the course for this team.

Passing weakness is showing up big time. 1st contact, whether on service receive or backcourt defense will define this USC team. Their 2nd contact is ok, not great, not bad, and their 3rd contact has no superior in the country, but the backcourt will be the focal point. They are going to miss Hagglund and Shaw, period. Nobody on the team can replace what they brought in the backcourt. Gillis in particular is being targeted back there and she's not performing.

Anyone know why Whittingham played libero instead of Schmidt? We may never get another libero like Hagglund. Young and Schraer looking good so far on offense.
