I know I'm not giving anyone any new info here but thinking about it out loud again puts it into perspective. **Disclaimer: I am not good at math. So Rogey's lifetime earnings stand at just over $2mil for about 20 years of play. Karch just over $3mil with 30 years of play. That's roughly about $100,000 per year and these guys are approximately the top 1 percent earners in the history of the sport?.....I'm too lazy to make comparisons to other sports/athletes so I'll leave that to someone else to maybe do for us. For the love of the game.... Edit: I guess it may be a bad comparison since Karch played so long ago the $$ he made was worth more....ha! So would it be correct to say Karch actually "made" more $$ than Rogey because of inflation and the decline in the value of the dollar? I'm getting in way to over may head here.....ha!

I think the real fall off was in sponsorship cash. My guess is pros of old made more before inflation adjustments than current pros. Hope I'm wrong. If correct in my assumption, I hope/expect sponsor numbers are getting more generous each year for players.
