An Omaha World Herald reporter is saying that Cook told them that these four teams will have a rotating site tournament starting next season. Not sure how they decide who plays who but should make for some quality match ups.

This isn't the Nike tournament... Nebraska is Adidas, right?

Sounds good to me. I think Texas and Florida have kind of hitched their wagons together regarding playing each other in non-conference matches for the future.

Hmmm would have been nice to have a PAC 12 title contender represented. Oregon is fine, but not final four good for the foreseeable future. Also, glad to see Nebraska signing up to play top teams outside of huskerville.
I wonder if the Nike big 4 is continuing? Too bad the big 10 couldn't have snagged purdue to play alongside Wisconsin in the rotation matches with USC and UW. These would be the premier tourneys in the preseason for the next few years.

Also, glad to see Nebraska signing up to play top teams outside of huskerville. Oregon isnt a Top 10 team this year (most likely) but will be for the majority of the 4 years this tournament is running. And the 3 better options (Furd, UW, USC) are already involved in rotating tournaments.

The school that hosts in any given year will decide which two opponents they play.

But we're bringing in Baby Brenner (Vander Weide), plus McLaren, Gill, Raskie, and then Youth Nat'l Team outside Van Sickle in '16 on top of the young talent already in the gym . Liz does a lot and isn't easily replaced.. We will no doubt miss her, but the overall talent level and depth is going way up. For 2015-2018, Oregon will be the best PAC team not already in a rotating tournament.

Wonder how much of this is a nah nah nah nah,nah to Stanford and Penn State? Not sure it's a big deal. Thought PSU and Stanford wanted to play each other every season, and being part of the Nike 4 wouldn't guarantee that; so, they moved on.

I think NE and Texas would of been playing anyway, fans love that old Big 12 rivalry. And there is still the Annual AVCA Showcase.

For 2015-2018, Oregon will be the best PAC team not already in a rotating tournament. Brenner is overrated, especially as a hitter. Replacing her isn't going to be as hard as people think. I saw Oregon's game against Illinois State and I was really disappointed with some of the coaching decisions Moore has made. First of all, Taylor Agost would REALLY benefit from a redshirt year. She's a gifted athlete but still very raw. Scratch the 6-2, put Martenne back at OH2, let Scott get more comfortable running the offense, and have Agost sit for a year and work on her technique.
