Big Ten Volleyball Twitter says they will show the first round matches of Illinois, Penn State, Nebraska, and Wisconsin on BTN2Go for free Thanks! I though that may be the case when I saw the Penn State link but I wonder if free means only those with BTN TV subscriptions or everybody. Guess will have to wait to find out. Would be great for everybody to have access to this. I have been checking BTN2GO website and currently there are no games up yet so I figure they will be up sometime today or tomorrow and I will add links as soon as that happens.

For a couple years the NCAA tried to mandate that all first/second round sites had to provide free video streaming. But they immediately allowed exceptions. And then when the rule was put in that said all seeded teams get to host, they lost their leverage on selecting sites.
Furthermore, the conferences developed these networks and I assume pushed the NCAA into letting them use them.
As far as I know, there is no more talk about making sure all the 1/2 round matches are available for free.

Yea, Stanford was one of the first to break ranks of that mandate for online matches for post season and then it got worse each year after that. Should have never allowed exceptions for post season play. Many won't be able to watch any Texas matches (rounds 1 and 2) due to no LHN availability unless someone streams it on YT. It looks like all the BTN2GO are free for everybody even without BTN subscription TV but will just have to wait and see. There are even some Youtube live matches(all 3 Kansas sub-regional) and currently one CBS Sports Live Free match(Dayton vs American). Also, so far all the PAC12 streams are free to all.
