First time hawaii drops out of the poll since 1992, but I'm not mad about it. They should be back in sooner or later

Rose's poll is pretty spot on IMO. There's a couple iffy ones but pretty good overall I think.

With USC having been swept at their own tournament this past weekend, I see there is quite a range of rank from the coach's voting for the Trojans. Ranging from #3 to #17. I would think coach Elizabeth Kritza did not double check her votes before submission. Kritza's ballot was from Week 2 (when that was sensible). She did not submit one this week.

Feels weird to see Hawaii out of the top 25! 22 years since that happened which means I was only 5 back then! lol But with Nikki back.....hopefully the girls will continue to gel and the starting lineup settles.

10. Southern California is maybe ranked at #20. Way over-rated right now........................but the great Mick Haley will figure this out. This man hates to lose and will get Southern Cal on track come Dec and the NCAA's.

This man hates to lose and will get Southern Cal on track come Dec and the NCAA's. Everybody hates to lose. I think it's more important that that have some really excellent volleyball players on their team, which is why I expect them to be very competitive for the PAC-12 title regardless of their recent bobble.

First time in 22 years that the Wahine have been left out of the AVCA Top 25 Poll. It doesn't matter how you start but how you finish. We all have yet to see the best from a complete Wahine team playing together. I like the potential of this team moving forward.

She played and started against SFU and was hitting well above .200 until set 4, when several bad sets forced 5 errors on her part. Give her till conference season and she'll play like the Nikki we know and love.

Taylor is back and fully healthy. She was a little fatiqued against SFU, but that was first full match of the season Fatigue is certainly not signs of being fully healthy and I thought she only played minimally and not front row. Taylor needs her conditioning back. She went from not playing at all to playing a couple of points against UCLA to playing an entire match against SFU and taking 41 swings. With Tai Manu-Olevao sitting out, it was inenvitable that Taylor was going to receive a lot of sets but that was too much for her first match back, imho.
