What does Nebraska have to do to beat the Longhorns? Relax and have some fun and not press. Get the fans excited and into the match. Still might not win, but that could make it close. Play tight and it could be a short night. Think that's the secret to this year's team. Have the talent but not trusting their game (yet).

bring back Lauren Cook, Jordan Larson, and Kelsey Robinson. Melissa Elmer also if she is free. That's fine, just as long as we get to bring back Hooker, Moriorty, and Adams! This is an amusing discussion. Pose all-star lineups for the top Texas, PSU, Nebraska, SC, Stanford, and whatever other schools you like. I was just thinking of some frightening PSU and Stanford teams.

I'm thinking God has more pressing priorities. Like protecting Huskers football from Hurricanes?

I am hoping and thinking Texas will win, but they are vulnerable. They haven't had the toughest non conference schedule and as noted above have several players in new roles.
What I will be looking for is how the team responds to adversity against a good team with a good coach and in a hostile arena. For example, if Eckerman and Victoria are both off at the same time, do our setters go to the middles and opposites & do they respond.
I'll also be looking for the Texas block. Looking for Molly to set the example with the block - That will be a major plus. Also looking for Prieto to step it up against a quality opponent.
I'm thinking Elliott sticks with his top lineup for this big match.
OH - Eckerman OH - Victoria M - Chiaka M - Molly RS - Bell RS - Prieto S - Dalton S - Collins L - McCoy DS - Brooks

Looks like the game is offered on BTN Plus. BTN Plus is internet only and it looks like I will have to pay and then remember to cancel the subscription. Wake up TV people! Women's NCAA Volleyball has the fastest growing audience. Don't just wait for the tournament to showcase these great match-ups.

It's not already being shown on longhorn network? They televise most Texas matches.

Texas is a Big 12 school playing at a Big 10 school; Big 10 school retains the rights to broadcast the game. Both LHN and BTN are showing soccer games during the volleyball game. BTN will offer the game on the internet via BTN Plus....for a subscription.

Longhorn Network is available over the Internet for free... but only to those with it on cable or satellite. Disney and Comcast have Longhorn Network in all their apps, but if you try to access it, it tells you you can't authenticate and so you can't watch it. Like the Pac-12 Network(s), there is no Internet-only option within the USA, even to customers of cable companies who offer the network to customers in other geographic areas but not in your own.

The telecast is being produced by (and will be shown on) Nebraska Educational TV within the State of Nebraska. I'm guessing that's the only reason it's available on BTN Plus.

Okay Texas Volleyball Fans, final tune-up before Big 12 play. Many of you are volleyball technicians and believe that the 6-2 is just a preseason experiment. This game should give you an analysis of the game plan for Texas volleyball this season. The transition from the past two years of the Eckerman and Webster high set show to a faster offense will give you plenty of opportunities to critique the success of the team this year. The talent is there for another National Championship. Hook 'em!

I'm thinking God has more pressing priorities. Like protecting Huskers football from Hurricanes? Well, if He was really going to intervene based on the most pressing need, I am fairly certain He would choose volleyball between those two options.

Keys for Nebraska: -Keep it close. Keep Texas guessing. Don't let them have too much fun. -Haggerty and the middles. Draw the Texas block. Get the pins to open up. Produce. -Beware of Hitting Errors. Get dug. Deal with it. (Note: No fancy shots, please.) -Win the serving game.
