In terms of % of votes, the Florida pick over Marquette at 105 to 4 was not VT's worst prediction this year. The honor goes to last week's pick of USC over TAMU (106 to 3). Meanwhile the pick of Colorado State over Arizona State (55 to 54) could be the closest win ever for VT, not counting matches where both teams had equal number of votes. By the way, the same TAMU with a big upset over USC was in turn a victim of big upset, in week 1 -- losing to UTSA when the votes went 123 to 7 against UTSA. Bottom line, flip a coin on matches involving TAMU, and any team facing TAMU in NCAA should lose sleep  . |
