Texas has won 2 huge road matches at Nebraska and at Florida. The only ranked foes they have to face are 2 matches against #24 Kansas and a home rematch with Florida. They also have 2 matches against the Chinese Club team, which I have no idea what to expect in terms of how those matches will go, nor do I know if they'll count as matches or exhibitions. Besides this, it should be smooth sailing for Texas. Do you think Texas will be undefeated entering the tournament? If I'm a betting man, I'd say yes.

Probably will be undefeated come tournament time. I do t think the games against Chinese team will count, but the big 12 is very weak this season and this Texas team has too much talent. Only way they will get slowed up is if Elliot keeps tinkering with the line up and the opposing team plays their absolute A game. Otherwise they should clean up the conference with ease.

Of course the Chinese matches aren't official and will in no way count as an official match for Texas' record.

Obviously you can decide whether to "count" matches against a Chinese team if you want, but as far as NCAA standings go, they are exhibitions that don't get included in a team's record.

Yes Texas is one of the best teams in the country they are simply too good, Florida could make things interesting but the Longhorns will be favored at home. The BIG 12 isn't as weak as everyone says its a solid conference but I think Texas is just that good they are one of the best teams in the country. If Texas played in the Big Ten of the PAC-12 they could win the conference and potentially go undefeated, would they, maybe not there would be more potential chances for a loss but they certainly could.

Defintely one of the best teams in the countries however, going undefeated in the B1G or Pac-12; I wouldn't bet a dollar on it.

I think it would be more unlikely in the PAC, but the B1G only Penn State and Wisconsin look on pace with Texas. They just beat Nebraska at home who is still looking like they could finish in the Top 3 of the conference. Like I said a loss could happen but to think that Texas couldn't go undefeated in either conference is silly.

I'll admit Texas would have a better chance of going undefeated in the B1G which is obviously not as strong as previous years (though I still believe Penn st and Wisconsin could handle the Longhorns respectively at their homes)but in the PAC? Don't see it. There's just too much talent, I wouldn't bet on anyone to go undefeated in that conference.

dorothymantooth has said he is willing to bet anything that Texas goes into the NCAA tourney undefeated. Currently, at least 11 people may want to PM him immediately.

Yes. Expect Texas to go into the NCAA tournament undefeated. Sure, they'll have their close calls during conference due more to mental lapses than anything else. But they have many offensive weapons, some of whom can help with their 6-rotation play, and an extremely talented Freshman libero to keep them cruising along until December. The greatest challenges come at tournament time for this team. But Texas has certainly gotten off to a solid start with important wins in preseason.
